Alcohol

General Alcohol: Ever wonder how much you’re actually drinking? Do you know the best ways to stay safe if you choose to drink? This presentation covers it all! From standard drink sizes to what to do if you think a friend has alcohol poisoning, our General Alcohol Program will provide you all the right tips to stay safe when drinking.

Safe Spring Break: Spring Break is everyone’s FAVORITE time of the year! However, Spring Break can also be extremely dangerous if you don’t plan correctly or take precautions for your own safety. Let Gamma help you prepare to have the time of your life, but stay safe and smart while doing it!

Drugs

Sharing is Dealing: “I just need something to help me stay awake.” Abusing prescription drugs for studying or other methods is a common problem among campuses across the country. But using a prescription that doesn’t belong to you is extremely dangerous AND illegal. This presentation will give you everything you need to know about “study drugs” and other prescription pills.

Tobacco

WTF (We’re Tobacco Free!): The University of Alabama is a smoke-free campus! This program will fill you in on what a smoke-free campus entails, and also resources on how to quit using tobacco!

Body Image

Body Image and Stress: Body image and stress are two completely components of health that can actually have a huge impact on each other! Learn how stress may be affecting your body image, and how a negative body image can impact your stress levels with our “Body Image and Stress” program!

The Body Project: *Special Request! This program is 2 hours long!* The Body Project was originally piloted by the Tri-Delta sorority. It is designed to break down the “thin ideal” in order to help produce a more positive body image. This program is best done in groups of 10-20, but can be done by multiple groups at the same time with multiple trainers!

Nutrition

Nutrition: With all of the nutrition information out there, how is it possible to know what is the best thing to eat and what’s the best for your body? Our Nutrition program will help simplify basic nutrition, and also teach you the best ways to consume nutritional information in the media!

Financial Health

I’ve Got Bills!: When creating good financial habits, it is CRUCIAL to start as early as possible! “I’ve Got Bills” will teach you easy tips on how to manage your money successfully, as well as understanding your loans, and money management strategies.

Social Media Safety

Doing College Right: Social media safety is a hugely underrepresented area of safety. Putting everything about yourself is not only dangerous, but it can impact areas of your life that you wouldn’t expect! Doing College Right will focus on social media safety, financial health, and the stress that can come along with it.

Mental Health

Mental Health and Stress: Some stress is good stress! However, long-lasting stress (chronic stress) can start to severely affect your mental health. Learn how mental health and stress are intertwined and the best tips to take care of both!

Relationship Safety & Consent

Bystander Intervention and Healthy Relationships: Communication is one of the most important factors of a relationship, but there are so many other things that contribute to healthy relationships. Relationship abuse isn’t just physical, and it’s important to know a safe way to intervene if you know someone in an unhealthy relationship. Bystander Intervention and Healthy Relationships will focus on how to have a healthy relationship, but how to safely intervene in an unhealthy one.

Consent is MANDATORY: The lines of sexual consent are not blurred. This presentation will teach you the skills on how to ask for consent, and how to recognize if you have received sexual consent, as well as skills on healthy relationships and information on sexually healthy practices.
