Fat Talk Free® Week is an annual five-day body image awareness campaign, typically held in October, that draws attention to body image issues and the damaging impact of the "thin ideal" on women in society.
The purpose of Fat Talk Free Week is to:
Educate others about the damaging impact of pursuing the thin ideal and the use of fat talk on women of all ages
Inspire change in the way we think and feel about our bodies
Promote a healthy lifestyle and one that urges individuals to live a balanced life in mind, body & spirit.
The purpose of Our Row Week is to work toward strengthening the University of Alabama Greek Community through positive peer reinforcement, health and wellness activities, and positive social norming.Find out more »

Suicide is the third leading cause of death on college campuses. Project Health's Health Advocates have planned the event entitled "UAre Not Alone" to bring awareness to the issue of suicide on college campus. The event will feature Katelyn Katsafanas, the 2015 University of Alabama Homecoming Queen, who will be speaking on November 2nd in Farrah 120 about her personal story and how suicide has impacted her life.Find out more »
